2024 Wrap Up with Manager Director, Ben Teakle
It’s been a big year for all of us at Peter Teakle Wines. We've introduced exciting new experiences, celebrated personal milestones, and been deeply grateful for the ongoing support from the community.
Listening to our guests and team has had a huge impact on how we’ve approached things. We introduced more theme nights, created a more relaxed setting at the Cellar Door, and launched The Lawn for picnic experiences – all driven by your feedback and ideas from our team. We’re excited to build on this in 2025, with a few surprises in store for our wine brand that I can’t wait to share with you.
Becoming a dad this year has given me a whole new perspective. I'm proud to continue my dad's legacy and build a future with Harvey and Kylie. Having my family involved in the winery means everything, and it’s incredible to see five generations of our family part of the wine industry. Harvey’s already showing signs of being a future viticulturist – he loves being outdoors and around plants!
We’ve been so grateful for the continued support this year. It’s meant the world to us, especially in a year that has been tough without Dad. We never take it for granted and are committed to bringing even more world-class tourism, hospitality, and wine experiences in 2025. We’ll continue working hard to make the Port Lincoln community proud, while encouraging friends from around Australia to visit this amazing region.
