Exciting changes at The Line & Label Restaurant

It's good to be back! It's been a while between blog posts here at Peter Teakle Wines but we've undergone some exciting changes. After closing the restaurant for our annual winter break we used the time to prep the vineyards, plus make some exciting changes in our kitchen at The Line & Label Restaurant!

Drum roll please...

We are thrilled to introduce you to our new executive chef, Mark Jensen who will be working alongside the incredible team including our wonderful head chef Jonathon Sweet. Mark is a four-time Chef Hat recipient and has worked as executive chef at iconic establishments including Qualia Resort on Hamilton Island, Lizard Island Resort and Spicers Peak Lodge.

Mark brings his wealth of knowledge and extensive culinary experience to The Line & Label Restaurant and is ecstatic to join the team here at Peter Teakle Wines. Mark's recently launched menu has strong Asian influences and showcases the Eyre's Peninsula's reputation as a food and wine hot spot.

Being based in the seafood capital of Australia; our new menu highlights the incredible local produce we have right here in Port Lincoln. From succulent Spencer Gulf king prawns, to Eyre Peninsula market fish, The Line & Label Restaurant boasts the finest produce and is a must visit for anyone coming to Port Lincoln. So many delicious options can sometimes be overwhelming, but true foodies can sit back, relax and leave the decision making to Mark and his team with our Trust the Chef degustation menu. Vegetarians are also in for a treat as we boast a full vegetarian menu and make sure to keep an eye out on our socials and sign up to our newsletter, to be the first to know about our monthly themed dinner events; like our Taste of Thai on August 26.

At Peter Teakle Wines we offer more than just wine, and we have also revamped our cocktail menu. Start your night out with a selection of our showstopping cocktails from our signature gin martinis to margaritas and espresso martinis.

As the months get warmer and the nights get longer, we have extended our opening hours.

The Line & Label is open:

  • Thursday from 6pm - 12am
  • Friday from 3pm - 12am
  • Saturday from 12pm - 12am
  • Sunday from 12pm - 6pm

Our Cellar Door is open:

  • Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 5pm
